this is our principal aim and the main reason for our existence.
A.A. is more than a set of principles; it is a society of alcoholics in action.
must carry the message, else we ourselves can wither and those who haven't been given the
truth may die."

- TAC Social Committee Members and Volunteers -
The Triangle Alano Club regularly hosts special events put on by the TAC and various AA/Al-Anon groups. These
social events are important to the livelihood of the club and are a huge part of what makes the club so special
to its members and visitors. As mentioned in the Big Book, “. . . we aren't a glum lot!”
We typically like to throw events on major holidays or on particular weekends as long as they don't conflict with scheduled meetings. And, we love to get new ideas and suggestions from our members, so please, don't hesitate to contact us about any of your ideas!
If you would like to volunteer to help organize or throw parties, please contact us! We are currently trying to put together a committee of 5 people, the only requirement being that you are a member of the club.
- TAC Book Drive -
Currently the TAC is holding a book drive to build a Recovery/Spiritual libarary for the
members lounge. We have placed a dropbox at the front of the meeting room.
Please feel free to drop off any literature new or old that has been beneficial to you.
If you have questions, please contact us.
